In the summer of 2026, I went to Arroyo Grande, CA to paint for three days in a small mentor’s workshop. My mentor is Bob Burridge and we had the joy of painting with him in his studio. On my six foot long paint table w as butcher paper. I used it as my palette. When the workshop ended, I loved the paper so much that I brought it home with me and hung it on my studio wall until I had an idea. Cutting off the leftover white edges, I began to see a mountain range. Since I live with Rumi’s quote, why not have the lettering made into a stick on strip and combine my colors with the quote that guides my life?
This painting is not for sale. However, I would be glad to get you into my studio in Richmond, VA to create your own palette to put on a canvas with your own life quote. Size of this piece is 30 × 40” The approximate cost is $500.
